If you want the Penguin to reach the best distances, it's essential to strike a good hit. You will have to tap the screen in front of the bear when the Penguin is on the same line as the bear's head so that the Penguin will fly a very long distance. It's all about the timing!

Bouncings are supposed to be considered as important as hits since they reboost the Penguin. By tapping the screen to send the Penguin downwards, it will bounce off the item it hits, if there is one.
